Custom Build Boats.

Any boat that is described as having been 'custom' built is usually a boat that is a one off, and normally the first owner has had a large amount of input at the design stage in order to meet his personal requirements. Inevitably this is the most expensive way to have a boat built and the quality of construction and fit-out is normally considerably higher than a production boat would be. The boatyards where these boats are built and fitted out often have obscure names that are not well known in the public domain, although of course there are others that are well known within the marine industry.
