Tallos is a comfortable vessel whether on passage or at anchor. She has generous storage both outside and inside which is a major benefit when cruising.

Two separate heads compartments with Lavac marine toilets, showers and hand basins.
Cabin heating provided by a Mikuni radiator and hot air system.
Galley:
The galley is situated on the port side and is equipped with a Plastimo Neptune two burner gas cooker, oven and grill.
Also equipped with generous storage, a stailess steel sink and a 12v refrigeration unit.
Construction:
This Warrior 40 was designed by Bill Dixon and built by Trident Marine UK in Portchester in 1989.
The hull, coachroof are constructed in white GRP with a teak laid cockpit.
Internal teak finished joinery.
Teak and holly faced marine ply sole boards.
Lead/steel encapsulated keel with skeg hung rudder.
Wheel steering with binnacle.
Mechanical:
Original Volvo Penta 2003T 43hp diesel engine(2200 hours).
Saildrive with a fixed 3 bladed propellor with rope cutter.
Spars and Rigging:
Cutter rigged, deck stepped mast with stainless steel standing rigging last replaced 2001.
Silver anodised alloy Kemp mast and boom.
Lucas(1999) sails with slab reefing main and stackpack, Furlex furling yankee headsail and staysail and additional cruising chute(2001).
Additional spare in boom reefing mainsail with boom.
Hank on staysail with self tacking boom.
Telescopic spinnaker pole.
Electrics:
12V system with 3 switched batteries (new April 2013).
240V shorepower system and shorepower cable.
240V battery charger.
Tankage:
190 litre stainless steel diesel tank.
500 litre fresh water tanks (stainless steel and flexible).
