Remarks :
"2011" New Regal 2565 powered by a Mercruiser 350 MAG 300Hp inboard petrol engine. She is finished with a black hull with a red bootstripe, matching black covers and white cockpit upholstery. See how a family can live really comfortable together on a 25 foot trailerable cruiser look though the window of this 2565 window express cruiser. Large, generously windowed forward cabin, roomy, bright aft cabin, a real galley, spacious cockpit with refreshment centre and a level of performance and handling that puts the 2565 at the very top of the class. Everything you desire most in a cruiser, including great value. 4 berths in one cabin. The stand up heads compartment contains a sink, hot and cold pressurized water, shower and generous storage. The mid cabin is comfortable and accessible for a boat of this size. Twin port holes with screens create a natural and comfortable cross ventilation. The main saloon is light and bright, lit by oversized windows that maximize every inch of space. The forward berth has built in storage, plus converts to a comfortable dinette.
Overview
There’s no shortage of pocket cruisers on the market today, but Regal still leads the way in cabin innovation. Right at the 2565’s cabin entrance, for instance, is a sliding door—a feature you don’t expect on a 25, because the track blocks the mid-cabin entrance. Regal solves this problem by positioning the track above and aft of the step well. Such tricks are easy if you’ve been performing them for over three decades. And, of course, there are windows. Like Regal’s 3360, the 3060 and the new 2860, the 2565 has forward windows with an “eyebrow” overhang plus “cat’s eye” side windows. The result is a lighter, brighter cabin area with an enhanced feeling of spaciousness. You can look out the window while working at the galley; and the forward windows over the convertible, LeatherCrest “V” berth/dinette function as large skylights.
The helm seat is high enough for good driving visibility without resorting to the flip-up bolster seat. The OceanTrac hull is fairly straight-sided, and, like any boat with an 8'6" beam, the 2565 rolls at idle in a trough, but it goes smoothly through a two-foot chop up-sea at 30 mph and down-sea at 40 mph. And it’s extremely dry—even back at the fold down transom bench.
The bolt-on platform steals no cockpit space. Both the ladder and rope lockers have fibreglass hatches, and one of the transom grab rails neatly doubles as a fender holder. The acrylic transom door lifts and locks open or closed when lowered. The handsomely soundproofed engine hatch, which provides table storage, hinges to port, so you can still walk from the cabin to the platform with it open. In the engine compartment, strainers and seacocks are on the starboard side and the water heater and waste tank are to port of the engine. The fuel tank is centred under the mid-cabin. The water tank is beneath the galley sole, but every plumbing fitting is accessible. Battery switches are right in the cockpit for quick start-up.
The cockpit area can house fishing rods, water skis or even a wakeboard. The cockpit table converts to a six-foot-long sunlounge and the helm seat swivels to face the social scene. State-of-the-art modular construction techniques not only assure a strong, tight, consistent boat, but also maximize the 2565’s living space. A one-piece liner extends from the mirrored anchor locker bulkhead to the cabin threshold; even the galley is moulded in. The table leg is offset so that four people can sit upright at the table aft of the low section beneath the foredeck. The queen mid-cabin has a cedar-lined locker, reading lights and a port light.
