Remarks :
With superb "American Schooner" shaped bows this John Alden design Ketch is a beautiful boat. She was constructed at Gweek Quay in the UK and is fully RCD compliant and VAT paid.In her ten years afloat she has cruised extensively from Spain to the Outer Hebrides but mostly in the channel from the East Coast to Ireland.

Accommodation
The interior of this yacht is superbly fitted out and has sleeping accomodation for up to seven people.
The forepeak cabin has a double berth and there are two singles in the saloon whilst the guest cabin on the port side Aft has a double berth there is also a single quarter berth to found on the starboard side Aft as well.
All the berths benefit from their own lights and leecloths.
The whole Cabin area is well ventilated by four deck vents and three Dorado vents. There are also twelve opening Bronze windows/scuttles fitted with retainer chains and removeable mosquito screens.
There is also a full length set of cockpit mattresses for use in hot climates.
The Galley is equipped to a high level and comprises:
- Smev oven with integral grill
- Smev gas hob
-Frigomatic 12v Refidgerator
-Pressurised hot and cold water system feeding galley sinks as well as the the basin and shower in the Heads.
-Water Heater; Engine or 230v Immersion Heater.
- Crokery and cutlery.
The Heads are with direct overboard discharge or through holding tank.

Mechanical and Rigging
This John Alden design Ketch was built in the UK and completed in the year 1998 with a fully Epoxied GRP Hull, Lead Encapsulated Keel and decks of Hardwood Brazilian Cedar which have been coated in Epoxy and then painted.
The Topsides are painted in Royal Blue Awlgrip whilst below the water line the hull was originally coated in Copperguard Antifouling, but this has now been overcoated with Blakes Tiger Cruising.
The Spars are of Douglas Fir and the Interior is beautifully fitted out in mahogany and teak.
Set up for manoeuvrebility and reliability Inca is fitted with:
-A 75HP Yanmar 4 cylinder Diesel engine with turbocharger and engine hour meter
(approx 1100 hours).
-A 75kgf Vetus Bow Thruster (New 2003)
-Variprop 4-bladed feathering propeller (New 2005)
-Vetus Hydraulic steering with integral autopilot
- Engine room ventilation fan
-2x Lifeline 210 amp hours service batteries (New March 2007- with 5yr Guarantee)
-Optima engine start battery
-Vetus battery for windlass and bow thruster

Battery Charging by;80 A engine alternator/charger
-Aquair wind / water generator/charger

The Tankage comprises:

The principle Sails; Main, Mizzen, Jib and foresail were new with the boat and first used in 2003.
The Mizzen staysail was new in 2004.
There is also a Storm Staysail (age unknown).
For stowing and reefing,Both the Jib and staysail are self furling Whilst the main has three slab reefs and the mizzen one.
The main and mizzen are also fitted with Lazyjacks and zip up sail covers (stackaway system)
