Remarks :
This yacht is a fine example of this type of classic ketch which has been the subject of considerable updating and well maintained by the current owners. Well worth viewing and considering if you want a long distance blue water cruiser.

Accommodation
This yacht has 7 berths in total, 2 single berths in the forepeak cabin, the main saloon area converts to a double berth, there is a single starboard side midships berth and also a large double berth in the aft cabin. The headroom in the saloon is 7', beige upholstery with teak woodwork. There are two separate heads equipped with sea toilets, wash basins and showers. There is also a linear galley on the port side which is equipped with Taylors gas cooker with grill, 2 hob burners & a hot plate, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

A new Perkins shaft driven engine was fitted to the vessel in 2005 with a Borg Warner (velvet drive hydraulic) gearbox and Flexi controls. According to the vendor this is a very economical engine which uses approximately 4 litres an hour at cruising speed.

This cutter rigged ketch has aluminium Isomat mast & spars, 2 x Rotostay Furling systems (forestay & inner stay), slab reefing and a spinnaker pole. The genoa, stay sail, main sail, mizzen sail and cruising chute are manufactured by Stephen Ratsey, they were all replaced in 2005. The boat also has a spare genoa, main sail and mizzen.

Stainless steel standard rigging & bottle screws were replaced in 2004/2005.

This boat is extremely well equipped with 4 x 12volt 220AH domestic batteries, 2 x 12volt 110AH engine batteries, 1 x 12volt 110AH generator battery and 1 x 12volt 110AH bow thruster battery all charged via an 80 Amp Hour engine alternator or via 2 x 45AH battery charges when connected to shorepower.
