Remarks :
The Transpac 49 offers an excellent value in the genre' of family blue water cruisers. The master stateroom boasts a huge berth and three "pirate" windows in the transom.

With a 3 stateroom layout, galley to port amidships, large saloon, and stand up engine room with work bench,
At 49' long, she is a large boat. However, she is rigged to be sailed short-handed. Roller furlings are used throughout with all lines leading to the cockpit. And the bow thruster allows anyone to look like a professional

One of the first comments we hear when a person steps below is "wow, there is so much room". The wide beam provides two important design elements: lots of room below and stability. There is minimum headroom of 6' 3" throughout.

The galley has plenty of surface area, a double sink and a fridge and freezer so efficient and well insulated they run off the batteries.

The topside has just as much room to move around. Behind the cockpit are roomy lockers, a BBQ grill, and space to spread out your gear before stepping onto the stainless steel stern platform to access the water or dinghy.

A generator provides all the power one might need for tools or toys. The scuba dive compressor is one such "must have" when cruising tropical waters
