Broker Remarks

Classic 1970 MacWester Wight with deep centre cockpit for good protection from the elements. This boat internally requires some upgrading and TLC, but on the whole is a sound, well constructed vessel. Worth considering for those who wish and are capable of restoring a good boat to its former glory. All offers considered.

Accommodation:

Can sleep 6 persons over three cabins.
Double V berth forward.
Aft cabin accessable from cockpit ideal as either a crew cabin or as a watch cabin.
The main saloon is bright and spacious with a large seating/dining area to port that converts to a sizeable double.
Separate toilet compartment of the starboard side.

Galley:
On the starboard side is a galley with 2 burner gas hob and grill with a stainless steel sink and storage.

Construction:

Built in 1970, both hull and decks are constructed of GRP and the interior is fitted out in teak veneer.
Centre cockpit with separate aft cabin.

Mechanical:
Powered by a BMC 35hp inboard diesel.

Rigging and Sails:
Ketch rigged yacht with deck stepped main and mizzen masts with stainless steel standing rigging.
Aluminium spars with roller furling headsail and slab reefing main.
