This Countess 35 is an extremely robust centre cockpit deck saloon cruising yacht which is most comprehensively equipped to a high specification. The Countess 35 is a very capable sea-worthy yacht that can safely withstand gale conditions.Her condition is a compliment to her current owners (who are the second owners) and she has been extensively cruised on the west Coast of Scotland, the Outer Hebrides and Orkneys plus numerous Channel crossings. Viewing of this yacht is highly recommended. A marina berth is available with this boat.

Accommodation
Forecabin with V berths and infill, lockers above and below berths plus hanging locker. Heads compartment with Jabsco marine WC, stainless steel wash basin and shower spray with H & C.
Saloon with fixed table and L shaped seating to starboard, settee to port, both capable as single berths. Galley to port with Plastimo Neptune 2 burner gas stove with grill and oven (2008), 12v 85 litre fridge/freezer, extractor fan, twin stainless steel sinks and Morco gas water heater. Walk-through to aft cabin with wet locker to port, large double berth athwartships and vanity unit with H & C. Lockers above and below berth plus hanging locker.
Superb stowage throughout and hot air heating provided from Mikuni MY30 3.4kw 4-outlet diesel fired heater and shore powered 2kw convector heater mounted in saloon

Mechanical and Rigging
GRP hull deck and superstructure with iroko cockpit seating and Treadmaster to decks and coach roof. Centre cockpit model with twin bilge keels with encapsulated lead ballast. Teak faced marine plywood throughout down below with a lovely grained finish. Hull epoxy coated from new.
Marinised Ford 1.6 litre 4 cylinder diesel developing 36hp, fresh water cooled with Bowman heat exchanger. (Engine spares and filters are extremely available and cheap!) Delta hydraulic gearbox with Aquadrive coupling to a 3 bladed propeller fitted with a rope cutter.
3 x 12v batteries, 1 x 96amp/hr dedicated engine and 2 x 140amp/hr domestics (2009). Batteries charged by engine driven alternator, Phoenix mains battery charger (2006) with Sterling management system, LVM Aerogen 4 wind generator (2007) and 1 x 10w and 1 x 40watt solar panels.
Wired for 240v shorepower with shore power lead. Galvanic isolator fitted
2 stainless steel linked diesel tanks of 45 gallons and 25 gallons
2 stainless steel linked water tanks of 40 gallons each
1 stainless steel holding tank of 30 gallons with sea and deck discharge points
Pressurised water system with hot water from a Morco gas water heater (2005). Manual cold water hand pump also in galley
