Construction:
Built in 1978 by Macwester Marine to a design by C S J Roy.

GRP Hull, deck and superstructure

The deck is a one-piece moulding and has grey Treadmaster applied

Accommodation:
Internal accomodation consists of two single berths in the forepeak with an infil piece to make a large double. Aft is a seperate heads fitted with a Baby Blake sea toilet to starboard. A small galley unit is to port with two-burner cooker and sink. The main saloon is fitted with two settee berths both with trotter boxes at the aft end. New mattresses were fitted in 1999.

Remarks:
The Macwester Rowan Crown is a triple keeled sailing cruiser built by Macwester Marine of Littlehampton. They are a spacious, sea-kindly Sailing Cruiser, with a heavy lay-up and displacement. It affords the stability of a long keel, but with the advantages of relatively shallow draft and bilge plate convenience. The accommodation and layout is favourably comparable to many boats of 24’.
