Construction:
Traditional style double chine plywood hull using epoxy construction methods. Keel is 18mm ply sandwiching a 50mm iroko keel. Bottom planks are 12mm ply with the middle and top planks 9mm. All planks are glued and coated with epoxy. Decks are swept teak planks on 9mm ply sub strata.

Accommodation:
The interior has accomodation for 2 people with berths in the forward part of the open saloon. A gimballed 2 burner SMEV cooker is located to starboard with a small plastic basin and pumped cold water. A cool box is located to port below the chart table.
A Jabsco sea toilet is located to port below the berth and is easily accessed by removing ply cover beneath the berth cushion.
Plenty of locker space.
A Goodman casette/radio is installed.
The gas bottle is located in the stern locker with a shut-off valve behind the cooker. |

Echopilot speed and depth.

Rigid plastic fresh water tank.

Sails and Spars:
Gaff sloop with running backstays. The mast is located in a tabernacle on the deck and can be easily lowered and raised.

Jib: 8.16 sq.m. with Rotostay furling gear. |

Remarks:
This very pretty little gaff sloop was designed by Jo Morran and built by her to be sturdy enough for Channel crossings but with a performance that makes her fun to sail. It was featured in Classic Boat and copies of this article together with additional photographs are available on request. |
