Construction:
Preliminary details @ 17/1/07
Hull deck and superstructure hand laid up in Austrailia by George Love Internal fitout completed by 1976. Based on the Joshua Slocum Spray design and modified above the waterline to include a deck saloon.Below the water line she is of long keel design with a spade rudder mounted on the end of the keel and stern counter. |
Accommodation:
The interior has been specificially designed for two people with occasional extra crew. ideal for long distance cruising or liveaboard. The large aft cabin has two large berths on each side with ample storage space and access to the lazaret.up to the wheelhouse with dinette to Port and galley to starboard. The galley consists of a gas oven with Four burners and grill, Immersion water heater, stainless steel sink and draining board, plenty of storage space. Engine controls and wheel are mounted centrally with and additional wheel and engine controls on deck at the rear of the wheelhouse.
From the wheelhouse down to the enormous saloon which contains two settee berths, sideboard and table. Forward to the Foc'sle with marine toilet, basin and shower area. |

Engines and Tankage:
Perkins 6354 6 cylinder diesel provides 120Hp to 3:1 ratio paragon gearbox driving a propshaft with a 4 bladed propellor.
6 water tanks containing a total of 260 gallons, 2 fuel tanks containing 160 gallons. Fuel consumption 1 gallon per hour at 6kts.

2 Batteries charged by engine alternator, Petter 6Hp generator unit, 240V shore power circuit ring main with sockets all around the boat. |
