Construction:
Designed by CR Holman and built by Peter Webster. She is a stiff, fast cruiser racer, equally happy being driven hard or pottering with the family. Her long-keeled, narrow beamed but elegant hull is quite cramped but headroom under the doghouse is 5ft 1O inches. |
Accommodation:
Forecabin with infil to create a double berth. Heads to starboard with XM sea toilet and hanging locker opposite. Saloon with port and starboard settee/berths with locker space behind seat backs and below, very nice saloon table which can stow under port settee. Chart table to starboard with seat. Galley to port with 2 burner gimballed gas cooker and grill, stainless steel sink. Good locker space throughout. Stainless steel catalytic gas heater. |
Navigational Aids:
Garmin 65 GPS, Nasa log, depth, wind speed direction,(not working) XM DSC VHF, Autohelm TP 100 autopilot. Sestrel bulkhead compass. Hasler/Gibb wind vane self steering. |
Engines and Tankage:
Kubota 3 cylinder 20hp diesel driving a 3 bladed propeller through a Hurth gearbox. 2 x 12v batteries (new 2007) charged by engine driven alternator. Wired for 240v shore power. 20ltr fuel tank and 100 ltrs water. Spare 2 bladed propeller and some engine spares. |
Sails and Spars:
Alloy mast, boom and spinnaker pole with stainless steel standing rigging. Mainsail by Kemp (2004) with slab reefing, Diamond genoa on Plastimo furling gear, spinnaker, storm jib, mainsail cover. Antal primary winches. |
Equipment:
Brittany 10kg anchor and chain, folding kedge anchor and anchor warp, cockpit dodgers, sprayhood, cockpit and stern seat cushions (new), teak cockpit sole, lifebuoy with light, danbuoy, 2 fire extinguishers, clock and barometer, 2 fire extinguishers, fire blanket, boarding ladder. Manual and electric bilge pump. |
