Construction:
Accommodation:
Forecabin with V double berth. Forward heads compartment to port with sea water toilet, washbasin and shower. Saloon with port side C shaped seating which converts into a double berth, settee/single berth opposite to starboard. Galley to starboard with 3 burner gas Force 10 Maxima cooker with grill and oven, stainless steel sinks, top loading refrigerator. Navigation station to port with large chart table and forward facing navigators seat. Single sea berth behind nav station and walk through to owners cabin aft with central double berth, seating port and starboard, en suite bathroom. Extra joinery/stowage was added by Westerly when this boat was commissioned. Epersbacher hot air heating.
Navigational Aids:
Polaris binnacle mounted compass, Autohelm ST6000 autopilot. Autohelm wind speed/direction, boat speed/log, and depth with alarm on coachroof garage displays. At nav station Raytheon SL70 radar, ICS Nav 4 Navtex with print out, Icom AD5B hand held VHF, Navico RT6500S VHF with cockpit speaker, Autohelm differential GPS.
Engines and Tankage:
Volvo 2040 diesel developing 40hp and driving a 3 bladed Gori propeller fitted with rope cutter. Mastervolt 3500 Whispergen 3.5Kw generator. Sterling battery management system fitted. Bow thruster with binnacle mounted joystick. New bow thruster battery 03/08. 202 ltrs diesel and 495 ltrs fresh water.
Sails and Spars:
Aluminium mast and boom with stainless steel standing rigging. Spinnaker pole. North in mast furling main and roller furling genoa. Both sails valeted and checked 03/08. Baimar electric furler fitted for genoa. Lewmar ST44 winches, Spinlock XA jammers.
Equipment:
Ocean Safety 4 man liferaft on teak coachroof mounts( needs servicing), fire extinguishers, fire blanket, automatic ER fire extinguisher, manual and electric bilge pumps, gas alarm, offshore flare pack, jackstay lifelines, radar reflector, storm guards for aft cabin port lights. Various warps and fenders, lifebuoy, wheel cover, sprayhood and cockpit tent attachment (new 2006 and cleaned and proofed 2008) inflatable dinghy (never used), outboard engine. Stainless steel transom ladder.
Remarks:
One of the best prepared and well equipped Oceanlords we have seen. Down below she looks less than 1 year old. She has just had her yearly service, hull anti-fouled, new anodes, 6 new seacocks fitted all others overhauled, hull and topside cut and polished, teak decks cleaned and is ready to sail away. Engine last serviced 2007 and only maintenance run since then. Viewing of this safe world cruiser is highly recommended.
