Construction:
Designed by Sparkman and Stephens the hull and deck were moulded by South Hants Marina in 1976. The vessel was then partially fitted out for the then owner using professional staff. She has always been stored under cover and was only launched in 2006, for the very first time, after being finished by the current owner. In her latest ownership she has had considerable money spent on her and has been completed to the very highest of standards using specialist skills and to all intents and purposes she is a new yacht. Lead keel with st.st. fastenings, teak decks.
Accommodation:
Forecabin with twin single berths, saloon with port and starboard settee berths, the port settee pulls out to increase the berth width, chart table to port at head of quarter berth. Galley to starboard with Force 10 triple burner gas cooker, grill and oven. Twin stainless steel sinks with H & C plus a foot pump, Corian worksurfaces. Top opening freezer and fridge boxes cooled by keel cooled low amperage Isotherm unit. Midships heads compartment with toilet, washbasin and shower, Corian counter tops, electric and manual shower pump, stainless steel holding tank. The accommodation is fitted out to a very high standard using solid teak and will work well in port or at sea, furnishings are covered in Microcare breathable blue suede material.

Furuno GP32 GPS, Furuno NX300 Navtex, Icom ICM601 DSC VHF, Nasa Target SSB receiver, Nasa AIS receiver/display, Garmin GP152 GPS, Raymarine C80 combined chart plotter,MARPA radar and fluxgate compass, B & G Hercules 690 offshore racing pack with Hydra 330 performance pack and Super Halcyon compass with 3 type 690 LCD displays, 2 x 20/20 displays and wind speed, direction close hauled and compass displays. B & G sonic speed log, B & G twin depth transducers with auto change over switch, Clipper GPS rpts display, B & G Helmstar 740 autopilot with 2 type 740 controller stations, B & G analogue clock, Nagus TV aerial. Sestral binnacle compass. Hydrovane self steering.
Engines and Tankage:
Beta diesel, model BV1305 developing 35hp and driving a 3 bladed Kiwiprop feathering propeller with a R & D flexible coupling and a PYI mechanical stern seal. Rope cutter. Stainless steel fuel tank. Fresh water from 2 flexitanks under settees. 4 x 120 amp hour service batteries with "Smart" management charging system, 1 x 120 amp hour engine battery. All wiring new. Wired for 240v shore power with SBC advanced battery charger/invertor. Hot water from calorifier fitted with immersion heater plus Mikuni diesel fired cabin and water heater.
Sails and Spars:
Alloy mast, keel stepped,and boom with Seldon gas strut kicker and hydraulic backstay tensioner. Spinnaker pole. Vectran fully battened mainsail with frederickson cars, slab reefed and with Hood easy stow system Vectran genoa with roller furling by Harken. Both the main and genoa are extremely high quality sails. MP-S cruising shute in squeezer by Hood. Storm jib on inner forestay by Hood. Trysail with separate mast track by Hood. All sails new. 2 Lewmar 25's, 2 Lewmar 44's 2 speed, 2 Lewmar 40's and 2 Harken 40's
Equipment:
Lewmar H12 electric windlass & gypsy,new 35lb CQR anchor and 35lb Delta anchor plus 60m of 8mm calibrated chain. New dodgers, mainsail cover, wheel steering and winch covers, 2 Henderson manual bilge pumps, Rule electric bilge pump, lifebuoys, dan buoy and light,KIN revovery harness, recovery throwing line, boarding ladder, wire cutters, radar reflector, emergency tiller, Seafire auto extinguisher in ER, 3 portable dry powder and 1 portable CO2 extinguishers, wood plugs, various warps and fenders.
Remarks:
First launched in 2006 and hull 6 coats epoxy in 2005. A very serious offshore cruiser which will appeal to a select group of experienced yachtsmen who appreciate the sailing qualities of the She 36 and also the extraordinary level and quality of fitting out this yacht has had which is to a far superior finish than modern production boats. Viewing is a must.
