Remarks:
This is a new design from the OwenClarke stable where their brief was to design an eye catching gaffer with performance that could also be towed behing a 4-wheel drive car and have big accommodation for her size. The cockpit will comfortably sit 6 people and is ideal when only day sailing and she is possibly one of the roomiest of her size. Under sail she is light to helm and has a surprising turn of speed. This version is fitted with a stainless steel centreplate which is easily hauled up and stows ingeneously under the bridge deck. (The centreplate is an optional extra)The deck,cockpit and coachroof of the prototype are marine epoxied plywood |
