Construction:
A twin keeled Hunter Horizon 273,Constructed in White GRP,This boat was Professionally finished to a high standard to be Hunters 1993 Southampton Boatshow, show boat.She has Non-slip panels on deck and stone coloured non-slip flooring in the cockpit and blue anti-fouling. A Sugar scoop counter with steps, platform and boarding/bathing ladder,Twin iron bilge keels and Spade rudder with tiller steering.The cockpit is self draining and has a large cockpit locker under the port side benchseat with ample room for fenders, mooring rope etc.To the stern of the cockpit there is also a self draining locker for the Gas bottle whilst on the foredeck there is access to a good sized chain locker for the anchor gear. |
Accommodation:
With up to 5' 11" standing headroom below, the Twin Keeled Hunter Horizon 273 offers a main cabin with a spacious and roomy feel to it. With berths in two cabins, she sleeps 4/6 people, with an open forepeak to the saloon creating a double berth, with drop down modesty screen to create some privacy. Two single berths in the main saloon and a Double berth aft on the starboard side. The Heads compartment is to port with washbasin and tap, a hanging Wetlocker and sea toilet.There is also a further locker below the sink unit housing the spare battery and the toilet inlet/outlet valves. The Galley area to starboard has a stainless steel sink unit with cold hand pumped water, icebox and Plastimo Atlantic 2 ring cooker with oven and grill. She is also equipped with a "Wallas" paraffin hot air cabin heater, making cruising both in and out of season comfortable and cosy. There is ample stowage through out the cabin, with a hugh locker located beneath the double berth in the forepeak, large lockers under both the port and starboard seating and behind their backrests too. There is a decent sized chart table to port with good stowage for charts,Almanacs and instruments. Access to the Engine compartment is behind the saloon steps, but can also be accessed from within the stern berth cabin making general maintenance at both sides of the engine easy.The Cockpit too is of a decent size and well protected by an over hatch Sprayhood and side dodgers. |

Making them perfect for both coastal and cross channel cruising. She has been well maintained and taken care of by her previous owners and comes highly recommended. |
