Construction:
A Honey Bee Class designed by A K Balfour and built in Rostok, Germany in 1965. 7/8" Mahogany strip planking edge pinned and glued on oak frames. 1.6 ton cast iron ballast keel. Teak decks on oak beams. Her hull colour is now white with decks in natural teak. Varnished mahogany superstructure, coachroof laid on laminated beams. Internal joinery a mixture of varnished mahogany and other woods. Steered with an oak tiller and transom hung oak rudder. Professionally sheathed below the water line in epoxy in 1998.
Accommodation:
Full 6ft headroom in the main cabin. Sleeps four in two cabins, blue upholstery. Galley area includes stainless steel sink and Rick Stein 2 ring gas cooker. Heads compartment with Blake sea toilet (new pump installed 2007) and a hanging wardrobe opposite. See the above plan for layout details.
