Construction:
Solid laminate GRP hull & deck mouldings, sandwich construction. Teak laid decks and superstructure, interior woodwork. Topsides painted (Awlgrip) 2004. |
Accommodation:
Spacious double in the forpeak, (v berth infill) with hand basin & hanging locker. Ensuite option available although sea toilet not fitted (existing plumbing) in preference to a useful extra small cabin. Still up for'd we have the mid cabin, a good sized double berth with an addition single bunk above - hanging locker & stowage. A separate heads compartment is here too, this with shower & hand basin. A most spacious saloon enables as many as 10 to eat around a large folding table in comfort. The main sleeping cabin is port side aft, a spacious En suite double. On the starboard side we have a settee which converts to a comfortable berth and has hanging locker and stowage. The galley is on the starboard side, twin sinks Frigomatic front loading fridge and a 4 burner cooker with oven and grill (2006) & microwave (2006). |

Engines and Tankage:
6 cyl Perkins 120hp diesel; professionally maintained. 150 gallons ((682 ltr) fuel tank, 159 gallons (723 ltr) fresh water. An additional 30 gallon grey water capacity is available and there is an option to convert it to a holding tank for the aft heads. All tanks are stainless steel. Lofrans anchor windlass (2002). Vetus bowthruster. |

Lucas fully battened main (1998) with Doyle "Stakpak" self stowing system (2000). New Ratsey furling Genoa and Staysail. Hood cruising chute. Ratsey Trysail (2001). 3 Lewmar cockpit winches, 2 Antal 60 electric winches (2006) & 5 mast mounted Lewmar winches. Sloop rig (cutter head), deck stepped aluminium mast. Built for extended cruising, this quality built Moody represents the best in live aboard comfort coupled with the strength for safe and confident blue water ocean passages.
