Engines and Tankage:
Re-engined with new Beta 32 HP diesel engine in 2002. Shaft driven with rope cutter.

Sails and Spars:
Sloop with masthead rig. Aluminium Alloy Kemp mast, Boom & Spinnaker pole; Mainsail with single line reefing, Lazy jacks & Stackpack, Removable inner forestay, Ratsey No3 - hank on jib, Roller furling Genoa, Spinnaker, Snuffer, cruising chute; All control lines led aft to cockpit, All standing rigging replaced 2002.

Wheel steering with extended traveller(new in 2006). x2 Lewmar 44 self tailing / 2 speed primary winches (new 2005). x2 Lewmar 10 2 speed secondary winches.

Equipment:
Autohelm ST4000, Sprayhood with chrome frame (new 2004), x3 Batteries, Battery charger, Advec battery management system, 240v Shore power, Hot water heated by calorifier and immersion heater. Gas alarm, 4 outlet Espespacher heating with thermostatic timer (new 2002), 4 man Coastal valise life raft (in service), Radar reflector, Jackstays, Spring cleats, 35lb Danforth anchor with 6m of chain, CQR anchor with 25m chain + warp, Manual anchor windlass, Fenders, Warps, Boarding ladder, Teak cockpit gratings, x2 Horse shoes both with lights, Electric bilge pump, Manual bilge pump, Pull cord cut off for fuel supply. x2 Automatic fire extinguishers in engine bay.

Remarks:
This fin keel centre cockpit example is very rare. She is presented in excellent order and has the benefit the hull being re-expoxied in 2000. She also has the advantage of many items and equipment being renewed or replaced in recent years. Notably she also has an extended mainsheet traveller, allowing the vessel to be sailed particularly well to windward. Definitely one of the better Discus's on the market today. Currently afloat in Chichester Harbour.
