Construction:
Planked in mahogany all copper fastened to steamed oak timbers on an oak backbone. External 3/4 ton iron ballast keel. Pine deck, the original canvas covering removed and overlaid with ply and painted to make a strong and water-tight deck. Painted mahongany coach-roof. Recent wheel shelter over a spacious, deep cock-pit. Wheel steering on cables. |
Accommodation:
4 berths. Heads forward with sea toilet, fore hatch over. foreward cabin with generous port and SB berths, drawers under. Bulkhead door to the saloon cabin with port side dinette. the table drops to make a double berth. Galley down the SB side. Door to cock-pit. |

BMC 2.52 55hp 4-cyl fresh water cooled diesel gives her 7.5 knts flat out. 40 gal steel fuel tank. |

Remarks:
The Everyman was a popular motor cruiser in her day, designed and built by ARC Marine in 1955. Amazingly, this boat remained in her original ownership from 1955 until bought by the present owner in 1992. She has proved totally reliable and given her owners much pleasure on the water, pottering out of Poole. An economic way to get on the water at a realistic price. |
